Logos in their simplest
form are graphic identifiers.
Whether they use a simple graphic like McDonald's golden arches, JC Penny’s
part graphic / part text or Disney’s just text alone, they all do the same thing, they help you to identify their company.
The easier you make it for your client or customer to find you the better. They associate your branding identity with a level of quality, customer service and good will.
As an example, part of McDonald's identity is Ronald McDonald. He not only helps to sell
“Happy Meals” he also is the spokesperson for Ronald McDonald House.
All those thoughts go through your mind whether you realize it or not when you
see a company’s logo.

Logos, what
are they really?
